Job Description

Primary Focus: Watch Night Prayer Leadership

• Lead and actively participate in watch night prayers, maintaining a vigilant and alert presence from 12 midnight to 6 a.m., every day.
• Ensure a spirit of attentiveness, devotion, and intercession throughout these hours, creating an atmosphere conducive to deep spiritual engagement.
• Partner with designated prayer team members during these hours, fostering unity and focus on shared prayer objectives.

Prayer Management and Support

• Support the Director’s vision by establishing and modeling a strong foundation of prayer during the watch night hours.
• Provide spiritual encouragement to fellow team members, helping to cultivate a consistent and committed environment of prayer.
• After establishing a strong foundation, assist in developing prayer groups and coordinating additional prayer activities, as directed by leadership.

Spiritual Alertness and Vigilance

• Remain spiritually awake, discerning, and engaged, ensuring that the prayer environment is protected from distractions and disruptions.
• Maintain readiness to respond to spiritual needs that arise during the night watch, providing guidance to team members and addressing any specific prayer needs.

Personal Skills and Experience

• Experience in prayer ministry or leading intercessory prayer teams is ideal.
• Ability to engage and encourage others to stay spiritually focused during extended prayer times.
• Strong sense of spiritual discernment and dedication to fostering a prayer-centered environment.
