Maid / Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced Maid, preferably a female to ensure cleanliness and proper tidiness of the house.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing:

Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all assigned areas (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, hallways, etc.).

Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs, removing mildew and grime.

Wipe down kitchen counters, appliances, and surfaces to remove dirt, grease, and food spills.

Clean windows, mirrors, walls, and polish woodwork as needed.

Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash and recycling properly.

Handle spills with appropriate cleaning equipment and products.

Laundry and Linen Management:

Wash, dry, fold, and put away clothes, towels, and bed linens.

Change bed linens and make beds to ensure a neat and comfortable appearance.

Maintain an organized linen closet.

Organization and Tidying:

Pick up and put away items that are out of place to maintain a tidy environment.

Organize shelves, cupboards, and common areas.

Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.

Maintenance and Reporting:

Report any maintenance issues, damages, or required repairs to the supervisor or client promptly.

Monitor and report on stock levels of cleaning supplies and household consumables, requesting replenishments as needed.

Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and hygiene standards while using cleaning products and equipment.

Comply with company policies and health and safety regulations.

Performing deep cleans as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience in a cleaning, housekeeping, or similar role is often preferred.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.

Familiarity with common cleaning techniques, tools, and products.

Good time management and organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.

Basic communication skills (verbal and sometimes written).

Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull for extended periods.
