Job Description
- Conduct a variety of tests on construction materials, including concrete, asphalt, soil, field test and aggregates
- Perform quality control checks on raw materials and finished products
- Analyze and interpret test results accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times
- Collaborate with project teams to address quality issues and provide technical support
- Assist in training and mentoring junior lab technicians
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geographic, Geophysics, Geology, Soil Science or related field
- Minimum of three years of experience working as a Lab Technician in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials testing procedures and industry standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with relevant software and data analysis tools
