Job Description

Warehouse Manager

We are searching for a motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of our warehouse, from receiving and storing inventory to picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will also be responsible for leading and motivating our warehouse team to achieve optimal efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control
Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and procedures
Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization
Schedule and oversee warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
Train and develop warehouse team members
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure data accuracy
Liaise with carriers and transportation companies
Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics
Identify and implement cost-saving measures
Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse management role
Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating a team
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid forklift certification a plus
