Job Description

The Business Development & Channels officer (BD&C officer) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, marketing and promoting the company’s brand and building high levels of engagement with the company’s customers and stakeholders. The BD&C officer must identify and generate new business opportunities that contribute to the company achieving its revenue, profitability and business growth objectives. Key to doing achieving this includes building long-term relationships with the user company’s community and key stakeholders. The KPIs for the BD&C Officer role are:
1) lead generation and revenue growth from new clients,
2) marketing and promoting the Sambus brand,
3) customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
4) achieving targeted ROI levels on marketing and business promotion expenditure.

Qualification
1. Minimum Bachelor’s/master’s degree and a professional/technical qualification in the area of expertise.
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in I.T, Geospatial/SaaS/GIS or related industries. Experience in high-level business development, negotiations, and managing client relationships management.
