We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at [Hotel Name] located in the vibrant area of Victoria Island, Lagos. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry. As the Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
*Responsibilities:*
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure proper fund management.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
