Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Moms/Postpartum Community Manager Volunteer. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a supportive and engaging online community for moms and individuals experiencing postpartum challenges. You will facilitate discussions, provide resources, and offer support to community members to promote mental well-being during the postpartum period.

Responsibilities:

Engage with community members in online forums, social media platforms, and virtual support groups.
Foster a positive and supportive environment by providing empathetic responses, resources, and encouragement.
Facilitate discussions on topics related to motherhood, postpartum mental health, self-care, and parenting.
Organize and host virtual events, workshops, and webinars tailored to the needs of moms and individuals experiencing postpartum challenges.
Monitor community activities, address any concerns or conflicts, and enforce community guidelines.
Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop relevant content and campaigns for the moms/postpartum community.
Stay updated on current trends, research, and resources related to postpartum mental health and motherhood.
Requirements:

Personal or professional experience with motherhood and/or postpartum challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach.
Ability to engage and build relationships with diverse community members, including those from different cultural backgrounds.
Comfortable using online platforms and social media for community engagement.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support and uplift others.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of community members.
