Job Description

Our client, a reputable firm in the oil and gas sector, is looking to fill the role of a Business Development Executive.

Job Title: Business Development Executive
Sector: Oil and Gas
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Creating, developing, and maintaining a professional and strong business relationship with end users, influencers, and key decision-makers among potential clients in the oil & gas
• The BDE identifies business opportunities and seeks their development where and when appropriate with existing and new clients.
• The BDE prepares and keeps an updated comprehensive register of prospective and existing clients.
• Prepares and sends weekly/monthly departmental reports to the General Manager on activities carried out.
• Follows up and liaises with the Procurement & Contracts and the Business Development Units for opportunities, monitors all bids, quotes, or tenders to ascertain the award status and the reasons affecting clients’ decisions.
• Provides support in all aspects of the bid process to ensure deadlines are met.
• The BDE monitors customer satisfaction and feedback of all clients’ assessments on PPNL’s performance.
• Carries out any other assignments as may be directed by Top Management

Requirements:
• Minimum HND/bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing or other related fields.
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience in Business Development specifically in Nigeria’s upstream / midstream oil & gas industry
• Veritable network across the IOCs, NOCs, marginal field operators and Oil & Gas EPC companies
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
