Kitchen Assistant

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, and measuring ingredients.
Assist in cooking and baking tasks, such as frying, grilling, and baking.
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
Ensure that food preparation areas are clean and sanitized at all times.
Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment and ensure they are stored appropriately.
Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors and emptying trash cans.
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food and kitchen supplies.
Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures, including proper handling and storage of food items.
Assist other kitchen staff as needed, including helping with food service during busy periods.
