Job Description
A therapy role with KIDSINMOTION offers:

About the role
KIDSINMOTION has multiple vacancies in Gwarinpa Abuja with immediate start for passionate, positive relationship builders with experience working with a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model to join our team as permanent, full-time or part-time Early Childhood Professionals.
This fulfilling role will provide best-practice, evidence-based therapy services across the scope of practice to children with disabilities to achieve their goals and live their chosen lives.
Your working days may involve:
delivering therapy in people's homes, educational settings or in the community, aimed at maximising a person’s functional skills and participation as well as promoting physical health and wellbeing
communication skills and/or mealtime safety and promoting overall health and wellbeing.
working part of an interdisciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals
providing indirect client service/family coordination to support client goals.
About You
You’ll be an established and enthusiastic Therapist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and experience working with Children with Special Needs, have good interpersonal skills and the ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them and build their capability. You’ll have the ability to work in partnership with children with a disability to set and achieve goals and to work collaboratively with the person’s support, including their families.

the ability to build positive relationships with service users and their families
the opportunity to build on your clinical practice – including the ability to self-reflect and a focus on developing clinical skills in areas you’re not familiar with

competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems
good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
