Financial Accounts Officer

Function: Retail & Enterprise Revenue Accounting

Reporting to: Billing Manager

Location: Lagos

Travel Frequency: Rarely

Purpose of The Job

To ensure the daily posting and reconciliation of all Billing transactions and revenue.

Annual Audit and Other internal Control Mechanisms
Completeness and Accuracy of Financial Transactions

Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills:
B.SC Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, disciplines (2.1/Upper Credit Minimum)
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is an added advantage.
Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA.
Must have had a good experience working within fast growing companies in developing markets.
Telecoms sector would be an added advantage.
Must be technologically savvy.
Knowledge of Financial management systems, accounting policies and standards and costing accounting etc.
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Strong presentation and financial modeling skills
Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
Strong work ethics

Work Experience:
4-6 years experience in finance & accounting
Industry experience: Banking, Corporate Financial Services, Investment Management, Capital Market.
Working knowledge of budgeting, planning, management accounting, financial modelling and corporate finance.
Experience In Implementing ERP System is an added advantage.
