Full Stack JavaScript/TypeScript Developer

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack JavaScript/TypeScript Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust and scalable backend services using Node.js frameworks, as well as crafting seamless mobile front-end experiences with React Native. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend APIs and services using Node.js frameworks such as Express, Fastify, or Nest.js.
● Design and implement intuitive and responsive mobile applications with React Native.
● Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to define, design, and ship new features.
● Integrate third-party services and APIs, including Firebase API services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, etc.).
● Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
● Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.
● Contribute to maintaining code quality, organization, and automation through best practices and industry standards.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, and share knowledge with the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
● A minimum BSC or HND Degree holder with Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, with a strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES6+ syntax.
● Extensive experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express, Fastify, or Nest.js for backend development.
● Solid experience with React Native for mobile application development.
● Familiarity with native mobile development languages like Objective-C and
Kotlin is a plus.
● Hands-on experience with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, etc.).
● Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and modern authentication mechanisms (e.g., JSON Web Tokens).
● Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and independently.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
● Knowledge of serverless architecture and cloud functions.
● Understanding of Agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
