Accountant

Location: Oke-Bola, Ibadan

Preferred Gender: Female

Salary: ₦120,000 - ₦150,000 per month (depending on experience)

About the Company:

Resource Intermediaries is recruiting for her client, a leading supplier of foreign furniture, building materials, and home appliances in Ibadan. We are looking for a talented and motivated female accountant to join our team at our headquarters in Oke-Bola.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
Manage and maintain petty cash.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Prepare and submit tax returns on time.
Analyze financial data and prepare reports to assist with financial planning and decision-making.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with Nigerian accounting standards.
Assist with internal audits as required.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree OR HND in Accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and other accounting softwares.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Work Days: Mondays to Saturdays
