Job Description
We are looking for a diligent and reliable Office Assistant/Cleaner to join our team in Abuja. The primary responsibilities include providing general office assistance and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the office premises.
Responsibilities:
1. Clean and sanitize office spaces, including desks, floors, windows, and restrooms.
2. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
3. Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables.
4. Keep pantry and kitchen areas clean and organized.
5. Assist in organizing and arranging office furniture and equipment.
6. Perform basic office assistant tasks, such as photocopying, filing, and organizing documents.
7. Monitor and replenish office supplies, such as stationery and toiletries.
8. Assist in setting up meeting rooms and preparing refreshments for meetings.
9. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
10. Follow safety protocols and procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
11. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate person or department.
12. Assist in minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
2. Proven experience in cleaning and maintaining office spaces.
3. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques.
4. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
5. Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning duties.
6. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects as required.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
10. Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certification or training in cleaning and sanitation procedures.
2. Previous experience in a similar role or office environment.
