Financial Analyst

Aviot Industries, a leading provider of financial services solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This position plays a critical role in supporting the company's growth and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports, including financial statements, budgets, and variance analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost optimization opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Perform risk assessments, evaluate internal controls, and recommend improvements to enhance financial integrity.
- Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Provide insightful financial recommendations to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

- Member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
- Preference will be given to candidates holding the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, auditing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI) and accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Nigerian financial regulations and accounting standards is highly desirable.
