Job Description

Job Description: We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to work on our ride-sharing platform’s MVP. You will be responsible for developing both the frontend and backend components of our application, ensuring seamless integration with map tracking tools, digital payment systems, and security measures. You’ll collaborate with our product team to deliver a high-quality, user-friendly product that meets the needs of our target audience.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop the front end and back end of the ride-sharing platform.
Integrate digital payment systems and map tracking tools.
Implement security features to protect user data and transactions.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive user interfaces.
Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both frontend and backend systems.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in full-stack development with a strong portfolio of web and mobile applications.
Frontend Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Backend Technologies: Experience with server-side languages and frameworks Java with Spring Boot, and Ruby on Rails.
Database Management: Knowledge of relational databases AWS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases MongoDB.
APIs: Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
Digital Payment Integration: Familiarity with integrating payment gateways Flutter Wave, Stripe, and Pays tack.
Map Tracking Integration: Experience with map APIs Google Maps, and Map box.
Security: Understanding of security best practices for web applications encryption, authentication, and authorization.
Version Control: Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
Testing: Knowledge of unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks.
Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools Jira, and Trello.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud services AWS, Azure.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of mobile app development frameworks Flutter and React Native.
