Job Description

Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Summary: The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's operational activities, including production workflows, resource allocation, and process improvements. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of media operations, who can streamline processes, manage teams, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Oversee the daily operations of the company, including content production, distribution, and resource management.
2.Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency across all departments.
3.Monitor and evaluate the performance of operational processes, making adjustments as needed to meet organizational goals.
4.Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
5.Manage the production schedule, ensuring that all content is delivered on time and within budget.
6.Identify potential operational risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
7.Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize production and operational efficiency.
8.Oversee budgeting for operations, ensuring that expenses are controlled and align with financial goals.
9.Work with finance and production teams to track and report on operational expenses and project budgets.
10.Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
11.Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies and implement new tools and techniques to improve operations.
12.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the operations team.
13.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
14.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and training to support team members' growth.
15.Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration across all departments.
16.Ensure that all operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
17.Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of output.
18.Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
19.Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms for the company.

Skills and Requirements:
i. Proven experience in managing operations within the media industry, including production, distribution, and resource management.
ii. Strong understanding of media production workflows, including digital, print, and broadcast media.
iii. Ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures that drive efficiency.
iv. Experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
v. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
vi. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
vii. Experience in managing complex projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the media industry.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
