Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development of architectural designs, drawings, and models for various projects.
* Support senior architects in project planning, design development, and execution.
* Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings, presentations, and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
* Participate in site visits, surveys, and inspections to ensure project compliance and progress tracking.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure design intent is realized.
* Conduct research on building codes, zoning regulations, and material specifications to ensure designs meet legal standards.
* Collaborate with the architectural team to prepare project presentations and reports.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
* 1-2 years of experience in architectural design and drafting (internships or full-time experience).
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
* Strong understanding of architectural principles, building materials, and construction processes.
* Ability to interpret and develop architectural plans and specifications.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines.
Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):
* Experience with sustainable design practices and knowledge of green building standards (LEED certification is a plus).
* Familiarity with 3D rendering software like Lumion or V-Ray.
* Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
