Job Description

A Nursery and Primary School in located in Ketu is in need of an English teacher for immediate employment. The role requires a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to providing an engaging and supportive learning environment for the pupils. Only Candidates who live in Ketu and environs will be considered.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that meet the needs of pupils at all levels of proficiency.
- Create and maintain an inviting and safe classroom environment that fosters learning and encourages student participation.
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback on academic performance, behavior, and other relevant areas.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure that pupils receive a well-rounded educational experience that promotes their overall academic success.
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of student progress and any issues that may arise.
- Prepare and administer assessments, including quizzes, tests, and final exams, to evaluate student learning and provide feedback to pupils and parents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student grades, attendance, and other relevant data.

Skills & Proficiencies

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
- Proficiency in the use of technology, including learning management systems, digital assessment tools, and other educational software.
- Ability to plan, organize, and deliver effective lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative as needed.
- Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing student needs and classroom dynamics.

Qualifications and Requirements

- English Edu, NCE English Qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English in a Nursery/Primary school setting
- Candidate must reside in Ketu or areas very close to Ketu.
