Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. They play a crucial role in developing and implementing sales strategies, coaching and mentoring sales representatives, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales quotas.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve company sales objectives and revenue targets.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, including setting clear performance expectations, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing coaching and training as needed.

Sales Forecasting: Monitor and analyze sales data and market trends to create accurate sales forecasts and adjust strategies accordingly.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including key accounts, to identify opportunities, address concerns, and maximize customer satisfaction.

Sales Performance Monitoring: Track sales team performance against targets and KPIs, and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure goals are met.

Sales Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and conversion, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.

Budget Management: Manage and allocate the sales budget effectively, including expenses related to sales activities, travel, and promotional efforts.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance analysis to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and coordination in achieving company goals.
