Job Description

We are hiring for our client in the plastic chemical industry.
Job Requirements:
HND/BSC in Engineering, Business Administration or any relevant field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the Chemical or Plastics industry.
Strong understanding of compounding and application knowledge.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in computer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Address customer needs and requirements to maintain and grow the business.
Lead customer relations management and develop untapped markets.
Achieve sales targets within the allotted territory
Lead a local Nigerian team of 4 sales personnel to meet territory targets.
Create strategic plans for the territory, including monthly, weekly sales, and collection plans.
Prepare and analyze sales reports for decision-making.
Systematically visit customers to generate leads, close orders, and increase company market penetration.
Follow up on deliveries with logistics and ensure collections are made within the credit period.
Attend technical discussions with customers and forward developments to the laboratory.
Conduct product trials with customers to gain approvals and commercialize products.
Coordinate with the R&D team to resolve customer complaints.
Update customer database and market mapping system.
Monitor competitor activities and implement counterstrategies to improve market share.
