Job Description

Job Summary:
The Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and monitoring processes to maintain high-quality standards throughout the production cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform laboratory tests and analyses on samples, documenting results and reporting findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions taken.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and other relevant quality standards.
• Identify and investigate non-conformance issues, working with production and quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Assist in training production staff on quality control procedures and best practices to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of quality control processes and methodologies.
• Prepare and present quality control reports to management, highlighting key findings, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with other departments, such as production, research and development, and supply chain, to address quality-related issues and enhance product quality.
• Ensure that all testing and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained according to established protocols.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, regulatory requirements, and laboratory testing methods.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to perform laboratory tests and inspections, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
Working Conditions:
• The role may involve working in laboratory and production environments, adhering to strict safety and hygiene standards.
Salary:
150.000,00 NGN Monthly
