Job Description
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster community.
This role involves managing social media platforms, creating content, analyzing performance metrics, and coordinating with other marketing efforts to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to align with business goals.
Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.
Community Engagement:
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media channels.
Foster a positive community atmosphere and manage online reputation.
Engage with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other relevant metrics.
Provide regular performance reports and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
Campaign Management:
Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions.
Coordinate with marketing teams to align social media campaigns with overall marketing strategies.
Advertising and Budget Management:
Manage social media advertising budgets and campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
Optimize ad performance and ROI through continuous monitoring and adjustments.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with internal teams such as PR, content marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
Coordinate with external agencies or freelancers as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to create visually appealing content with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
