Job Description

The Brand and PR Manager is a strategic role responsible for shaping and communicating the church’s brand identity, managing public relations, and driving the overall image of the church within the community and broader public sphere. This role will work closely with senior church leaders to ensure that all messaging aligns with the church’s values and mission.
Key Responsibilities:
✔Brand Development: Create and execute a comprehensive branding strategy that captures the church’s mission, vision, and values. Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistent application across all communication channels.
✔Public Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with local and national media. Write and distribute press releases, and manage media inquiries to ensure positive coverage of the church’s activities.
✔Social Media & Content Distribution: Use social media and content to drive brand and awareness objectives.
✔Crisis Management: Prepare and implement crisis communication plans. Address any negative publicity or issues swiftly and effectively to protect the church’s reputation.
✔Brand Monitoring: Track and analyze brand performance and public perception. Use metrics and feedback to refine strategies and improve the church’s image.
Qualifications:
✔Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree or additional certifications in branding or PR is a plus.
✔Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in brand management and public relations, preferably but not limited to a faith-based or non-profit context. Demonstrated success in managing high-profile campaigns, media relations and leading teams.

✔Public Relations: Strong experience in managing media relations, writing press releases, and coordinating public events.

✔Content Creation: Ability to create compelling content that supports brand messaging.
✔Crisis Management: Skills in handling PR crises and managing brand reputation.
✔Analytical Skills: Proficiency in measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of PR and brand initiatives.
✔Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking, and crisis management.
✔Deep understanding of Christian values and the ability to integrate them into branding and communication strategies.
