Job Description
As a Facility/Maintenance Technician, you will be pivotal in ensuring our Luxury Apartments and Hotel uphold the highest standards of quality and comfort. By managing maintenance, repairs, and sustainability initiatives, you’ll contribute significantly to optimizing operations and elevating the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance: Oversee and execute maintenance, repairs, and renovations of apartments, hotel facilities, plumbing, electrical systems, common areas, equipment and infrastructure.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with vendors and contractors for efficient service delivery.
Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct regular inspections, address potential hazards, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-saving measures to reduce operational costs and enhance sustainability.
Budget Control: Monitor and manage facility-related expenses, proposing cost-effective solutions.
Guest Comfort: Maintain facilities to ensure a luxurious and comfortable guest experience.
Staff Training: Train and mentor maintenance staff to uphold quality standards and perform efficiently.
Crisis Management: Develop contingency plans for emergencies, ensuring swift resolution of disruptions.
Sustainability Initiatives: Drive eco-friendly practices to support sustainability goals for the apartments and hotel.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in facility/maintenance management or a related field, preferably in luxury properties.
Strong technical knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general maintenance.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with health, safety, and building regulations.
Strong vendor management and budget control skills.
Commitment to delivering exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
