Job Description
The Rental Canopy and Chair Marketer promotes and rents canopies, chairs, and other event equipment to customers, ensuring excellent customer service and maximizing revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote rental services.
- Create promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, and social media content.
- Attend events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase services.
2. Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and process rental agreements.
- Ensure excellent customer service, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Build relationships with repeat customers and event planners.
3. Rental Operations:
- Coordinate logistics for canopy and chair deliveries, setups, and pickups.
- Ensure equipment is in good condition, clean, and well-maintained.
- Manage inventory, track equipment availability, and optimize rental schedules.
4. Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Identify sales opportunities, upsell, and cross-sell rental services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with event planners, venues, and other potential customers.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
5. Administrative Tasks:
- Process rental agreements, invoices, and payments.
- Maintain accurate records, including customer information, rental history, and equipment inventory.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Requirements:
1. Education and Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
- Training in sales, marketing, and customer service.
2. Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service, preferably in the event rental industry.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
3. Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Knowledge of event planning, marketing, and sales principles.
Working Conditions:
