We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Managing Director/CEO to lead their Nigeria operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader with deep expertise in microfinance and a strong understanding of the Nigerian financial landscape. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the Bank’s strategic initiatives, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering innovative financial solutions.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
§ Develop and execute the Bank’s strategic plan to achieve growth and profitability goals,
aligned with the Board's vision and objectives.
§ Utilize an extensive network and deep knowledge of the Nigerian market to attract deposits,
increase customer acquisition, and expand market share.
§ Oversee the development and launch of new financial products, including savings, deposits,
and loan offerings, tailored to meet local market needs.
§ Optimize operations to enhance cost-efficiency and service quality, while maintaining
compliance with all regulatory requirements.
§ Build and maintain effective relationships with key regulatory bodies to stay current on
regulatory changes and ensure compliance.
§ Foster a collaborative management style and open-door policy, encouraging engagement and
feedback across all levels of staff.
§ Lead the Bank’s digital transformation initiatives to drive revenue, operational efficiency and
improve accessibility for customers.

Job Requirements
§ Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, finance, business administration, or a related field.
§ Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant professional certification in finance or banking (e.g. MCIB, ACIB, ICAN, ACCA).
§ Minimum of 15 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
§ Experience working with or within international organizations, with exposure to multicultural environments; international experience is an advantage.
§ Good knowledge of the Nigerian banking regulations and a well-established network in the Nigerian financial sector.
§ Proven experience in strategic planning, market expansion, digital transformation and revenue generation.
§ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English.
