**Job Description:**
As a Virtual Accountant at Educify Inc, (Bow Lake Music & Coding Inc.), you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing crucial insights to drive business decisions. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and tax preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a virtual environment.

**Responsibilities:**
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are up to date.
- Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support in various projects.
- Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.
- Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Google Spreadsheet.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Regular Electricity and Internet access and a working laptop (Mobile Phones not allowed)
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Experience with remote work or virtual teams is a plus.
