Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tipper Driver with 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting materials, such as sand, gravel, or construction debris, to and from job sites. This role requires an experienced driver who is knowledgeable about the safe operation of tipper trucks and can ensure timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and drive a tipper truck safely and efficiently for transportation of various materials.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure the safety of yourself, others, and the equipment.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure proper functioning (oil, tire pressure, and other key components).
• Ensure that the correct materials are loaded and unloaded as per job specifications.
• Manage route planning and ensure timely delivery to job sites.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including materials delivered and location details.
• Communicate effectively with site managers and other team members.
• Assist with loading and unloading as required.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the supervisor or maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and local regulations.
Qualifications:
• 2 years of driving experience with a tipper truck.
• Valid Class 2/3/4 (or relevant) driving license.
• Proven ability to operate heavy vehicles safely in diverse weather conditions and on various terrains.
• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Good physical health and ability to handle manual tasks.
• Previous experience in the construction or logistics sector is preferred.
