Location:
Abuja, Nigeria (Preferred areas: Asokoro, Nyanya, Jikwoyi, Kurudu, Mararaba)
Job Description:
As an Accountant at Biorapid Diagnostics, you will:
• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports for internal and external use.
• Oversee tax filings and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular financial audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Manage cash flow, expense tracking, and financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to manage budgets related to equipment procurement and maintenance.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or diagnostics-related company.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidate must reside in Abuja within or near the specified areas (Asokoro, Nyanya, Jikwoyi, Kurudu, Mararaba).
