Job Description

Our client organization is looking to hire a Senior Travel Consultant, who is passionate about travel and possesses exceptional sales and consultant skills. As a Senior Travel Consultant, you will be a key player in promoting and selling our diverse range of travel packages and services to potential customers. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of travel destinations, outstanding communication skills, and persuasive techniques to drive sales and exceed revenue targets. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service will be essential in ensuring our customers have memorable travel experiences.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and convert them into loyal customers.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their travel preferences, and proactively suggesting suitable travel options.
3. Cultivate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach.
4. Stay updated on industry trends, travel regulations, country visitor and competitive offerings to provide insightful recommendations to clients.
5. Prepare and present reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
6. Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets on a consistent basis.
7. Showcase our travel products and services, emphasizing unique selling points to potential customers.
8. Handle inquiries and provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
9. Collaborate with the travel operations team to ensure smooth trip arrangements and flawless execution of travel plans.
10. Advise clients regarding passports, visa’s, health requirements, foreign exchange, travel insurance etc for travel purposes.
11. Monitor airline flights while clients are en route to stay apprised of delays and any other problems.
12. Train and mentor junior travel consultants on all aspects of creating travel arrangements and satisfying clients.
13. Design complete travel itineraries for clients that include entertainment, restaurant, and attraction suggestions.

Requirements:
i. Bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism, Business, or a related field is preferred.
ii. Proven track record as a successful Travel Consultant with a minimum of [5-6] years of experience in a similar role.
iv. In-depth knowledge of the travel industry, including popular destinations, travel products, and emerging trends.
v. Proven experience as a successful Travel Sales consultant or in a similar sales role within the travel industry.
vi. Ability to Understand clients' travel preferences, needs, and budgets to curate personalized travel packages that exceed their expectations.
vii. Strong sales acumen and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
viii. In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, travel products, and industry trends.
ix. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
x. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
xi. Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, Outstanding sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
xii. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with clients and effectively convey the value of our travel services.
xiii. Strong organizational and time management abilities, enabling you to handle multiple clients and travel arrangements simultaneously.
xiv. Passion for travel and a deep understanding of various travel styles, such as luxury, adventure, cultural, and eco-tourism.
xv. Tech-savvy, with proficiency in using CRM systems, travel booking platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
xvi. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
xvii. Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for travel and exploring new destinations.
