Job Description
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, or CRMA would be preferable
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a similar role, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
• In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting regulations
• Comprehensive understanding of the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in auditing tools, financial systems, and risk management software.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as ISO standards, HSE regulations, and local industry guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key insights.
• Proven problem-solving abilities to effectively address operational, financial, and compliance challenges.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in auditing and reporting.
• Unwavering integrity and ethical conduct in handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic industry trends and implement innovative audit and risk management practices.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and deliver stakeholder presentations.
