Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Café Attendant to manage snack sales and prepare coffee at the Jenniez School of African Interior Design café. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure a clean and welcoming environment, and help create a relaxing space for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide a warm, friendly experience.
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages.
Manage the sale of snacks, beverages, and other café items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including tables, counters, and equipment.
Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of products.
Handle cash, mobile payments, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in creating a welcoming and calming atmosphere for café patrons.
Qualifications:
Experience in food service, café operations, or customer service is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of coffee preparation or willingness to learn.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
Friendly demeanor with a passion for providing excellent service.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role (specify), with working hours aligned with the school’s schedule.
