Job Description
Location - Lagos, Abuja, Benin, Onitsha, Kaduna
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing:
Identify and pursue new sales leads through various channels, such as networking, referrals, and marketing campaigns
Build and maintain relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders to generate new business and retain existing customers. Present insurance products and services to clients, highlighting features, benefits, and value proposition
Product Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with various insurance products, including life, health, auto, home, and other types of insurance
Understand policy terms, conditions, and exclusions to effectively communicate with clients
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Conduct needs assessments to determine clients' insurance requirements and provide tailored solutions
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and policy information
Prepare and submit sales reports, as well as other documentation, as required
Business Development:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, such as partnerships or niche markets
Requirements and Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Experience: Proven sales and marketing experience in the insurance industry, preferably 5-10years
Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and sales targets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
