Job Description

The Enterprise Project Management Officer (EPMO) plays a crucial role in the strategic execution of key projects across the organization. Reporting to the CEO, the EPMO ensures the successful delivery of initiatives spanning various functions such as IT, operations, marketing, HR, finance, and more. You will provide oversight, governance, and coordination across a diverse portfolio, enabling alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment and Governance
• Partner with senior leadership to ensure all programs align with organizational priorities.
• Implement governance frameworks and standardized methodologies to maintain consistency and quality in execution.
• Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms for real-time visibility into program performance and risks.

Programme Oversight and Coordination
• Oversee the centralized management of programs, ensuring resources, timelines, and outcomes are aligned.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and resolve conflicts.
• Monitor progress of key initiatives, ensuring that milestones and deliverables are met.

Risk Management
• Identify and assess risks across the program portfolio.
• Develop and implement mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Escalate critical issues to the CEO and key stakeholders as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
• Act as the primary liaison between the CEO and program teams.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Prepare updates and presentations for the CEO, Board of Directors, and key stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
• Use data and feedback to optimize program management practices across the organization.
• Mentor project managers and build internal capabilities for successful program delivery.

Resource Management
• Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning for strategic initiatives.
• Ensure optimal utilization of talent, technology, and financial resources.
• Support the CEO in prioritizing initiatives based on strategic value and ROI.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
• 8-10 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with C-level executives and Boards of Directors is essential.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications in program/project management.
• Agile or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Proficient in program management tools, analytics platforms, and financial forecasting.
• Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project Management tools.
• Strategic Thinking, Leadership, Analytical Ability, Communication, Change Management, Financial Forecasting,
• Familiarity with networked computer systems, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, and blockchain technology.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in business optimization and innovation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
