Job Title: City Head / Market Supervisor
Location: Abeokuta, Ogun State
Reports To: Regional Manager / Sales Manager
Department: Sales
Job Summary:
The City Head / Market Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all sales and market activities within the assigned areas. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals; marketing, developing and executing strategies to drive sales awareness, and ensuring the achievement of company’s targets. E.g Facilitating the sales of high - quality spices and other FMCG products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and motivate a team of Sales Representatives to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to enhance team productivity and development.
• Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the market, aligning with corporate objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's market share within the city/market.
• Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs for the team, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Track sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
• Conduct regular market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Analyze customer feedback and make recommendations for product and service improvements.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the sales process.
• Monitor and optimize resource allocation within the team to improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and team performance.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in Sales
• Experience in the FMCG sector.
Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
