KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop creative architectural concepts, sketches, and designs based on client requirements, site analysis, and building regulations.
Lead the development of detailed architectural plans, including site layouts, elevations, and detailed drawings for construction purposes.
Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) to create accurate and functional design models.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand project goals, objectives, and vision.
Present design ideas, concepts, and progress to clients and stakeholders through visual presentations, renderings, and other forms of communication.
Make modifications based on feedback and ensure the design aligns with the client’s needs and budget.
Lead project teams through the design and documentation phases, ensuring that all project milestones are met.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, interior designers, and other professionals to ensure the design’s technical accuracy and feasibility.
Ensure that designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.
Incorporate sustainable and eco-friendly practices into designs, including energy efficiency, environmental impact, and the use of sustainable materials.
Oversee the preparation of detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documentation for contractors and builders.
Visit construction sites regularly to ensure that work is being executed according to the approved plans and to address any design-related issues that arise during construction
Conduct thorough quality checks of design deliverables to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project goals.
Ensure that all designs adhere to industry standards and best practices in architecture and design
REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
4+ years of experience in architectural design, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects
Experience in both residential and commercial projects is preferred.
Proficient in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
Excellent design, drawing, and visualization skills
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members
