Job Description
Processing payment documents in accordance with internal procedures and policy as well as in compliance with legal requirements i.e. Tax laws
Responsible for posting payment vouchers on Software
Prepares payment batches, cheques, and other payment instruction types
Raises and prepares inventory purchase requisition and follows through that inventory account with Vendors get credited.
Ensures that inventory reorder level is maintained, and inventory does not run out
Reconcile various accounts including bank accounts by identifying errors in posting and omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards
Assist with monthly status reports and monthly closings
Files and maintains payment and accounting documents
Performs other duties as required to support the department.
