Junior internal auditor

Job Summary:
Conduct independent audits and reviews to ensure the group's financial statements, operations, and internal controls are accurate, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Audit Planning: Develop and implement annual audit plans to identify and assess risks.
2. Audit Execution: Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes.
3. Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks to the group's assets, operations, and reputation.
4. Control Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
5. Reporting: Prepare and present audit reports to management and the audit committee.
6. Follow-up: Monitor and report on the implementation of audit recommendations.
Requirements:
1. Professional Certification: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is added advantage
2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3. Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of internal auditing experience, preferably in a group company setting.
4. Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. Audit Coverage: Completion of audit plans and coverage of high-risk areas.
2. Audit Quality: Quality of audit reports and recommendations.
3. Risk Management: Identification and assessment of potential risks.
4. Internal Control Effectiveness: Evaluation of internal control effectiveness and recommendation of improvements.
