Job Description

1. Develop and improve safety management policies and procedures for the yard, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
2. Conduct safety inspections by regularly checking operational areas in the yard, identifying potential risks, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
3. Supervise equipment and operational safety, with a focus on the safe use of reach stackers, forklifts, and other yard equipment.
4. Organize safety training to enhance employees’ awareness of safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
Incident investigation and corrective actions, recording and analyzing safety incidents or hazards, proposing corrective measures, and ensuring follow-up implementation to prevent recurrence.
5. Ensure regulatory compliance, staying informed on local and international HSE regulations and maintaining good communication with government agencies and clients.
6. Emergency management, developing and conducting drills for emergency response plans to ensure the yard is well-prepared for unexpected situations.
