Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Legal Associate to join our team! As an Associate, the ideal candidate will be responsible for working directly with the firm to ensure that all legal matters are handled in a professional and efficient manner. The Associate will also be responsible for:
• drafting and reviewing legal documents;
• assessing legal needs, review of company policies & procedures, and business and legal policies;
• Assisting in the preparation of pleadings and notices;
• Providing legal and administrative support to the managing partner;
• Conducting legal research;
• Coordinating and filing all documents involving lawyers and clients;
• Reviewing transactions and providing updates to lawyers and clients;
• Analyzing conflicts in legal matters and advising clients on solutions;
• Assisting in the review of legal documents for accuracy and completeness;
• Communicating with the managing partner to ensure cases are handled efficiently; and
• Ensuring confidentiality etc.

Requirements and Qualifications
• Accredited Law degree
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a law firm or legal practice;
• Strong legal knowledge and organizational skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others;
• Strong client service orientation;
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Proficiency in MS Office;
• Exceptional decision-making abilities and strong project management skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Salary:
₦140,000.00 Monthly
