Job Description (Summary)
As a Filling Station Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all financial transactions at the filling station, ensuring proper sales reconciliation, and monitoring banking transactions. You will work closely with pump attendants and station supervisors to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Handling: Receive cash from pump attendants and prepare daily transaction reports.
Sales Reconciliation: Maintain daily records of sales, verify cashier balance, and prepare reports.
Transaction Monitoring: Ensure accurate documentation of all fuel and product sales.
Banking Transactions: Deposit collected cash into the company’s account as required.
Fraud Prevention: Monitor sales for discrepancies or fraudulent activities and report findings.
Customer Interaction: Attend customer inquiries and complaints related to payments.

Required Qualifications & Experience
OND/HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in a similar role (retail cashier, filling station cashier, or financial operations).
Strong experience in cash handling and sales reconciliation.
Preferably female candidates for gender balance and not older than 30 years of age.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and ability to work under pressure.
