Company Driver

Job Summary:
The Company Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of company personnel, clients, and/or materials to designated locations. This role requires adherence to all traffic laws and company policies, as well as a commitment to maintaining a clean and well-maintained company vehicle.
Responsibilities:
Safe Vehicle Operation:
Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Maintain a clean driving record.1
Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
Transportation Duties:
Transport company personnel, clients, and/or materials to various locations as directed.
Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers.
Ensuring the car is properly managed and well taken care of.
Ensure the car is clean and comfortable for all rides.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks (e.g., checking fluid levels, and tire pressure).
Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the company vehicle.
Ensure that the vehicle has adequate fuel.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
Complete and submit trip logs and other required documentation.
Report any accidents or incidents promptly.
Professional Conduct:
Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain confidentiality of company information.
Provide excellent customer service to passengers and clients.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a professional capacity.
Skills:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
Strong navigational skills and familiarity with local roads and routes.
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Ability to use navigation applications on smart phones.
Ability to maintain time management.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry moderate loads.
