LOCATION: IKEJA, LAGOS
WORKING HOURS: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Are you passionate about fashion and eager to share your knowledge and expertise with aspiring designers? SOTA Creative Hub is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Fashion Instructor to join our team and help shape the next generation of fashion designers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Fashion Instructor at SOTA Creative Hub, you will be responsible for:
1. **Teaching:** Delivering engaging and informative fashion design classes to students of varying skill levels.
2. **Curriculum Development:** Collaborating with the curriculum team to develop and update course materials, ensuring they are current and industry-relevant.
3. **Critiques and Feedback:** Providing constructive feedback and guidance to students on their design projects and assignments.
4. **Mentorship:** Mentoring and supporting students in their creative and professional development.
5. **Workshop Coordination:** Organizing workshops, fashion shows, and other related events to showcase students' work.
6. **Staying Current:** Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the fashion industry.
7. **Maintaining a Creative Environment:** Cultivating a positive and inspiring learning atmosphere within the classroom.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proven experience in fashion design and a strong portfolio of your own work.
- Teaching or mentoring experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for design.
- Creativity and innovation in teaching methods.
