Job Description

Support the Department Head Segments, Products and Marketing Analytics and Head Credit Business on the implementation of the overall client segmentation strategy, annual business plans, policies and procedures and specifically in regards to the Consumer Banking client segment, to support functional and organizational business strategy.
Ensure that the function's business plans are within agreed budgets and timescales. Provide timely, accurate and complete progress reports to the Department Head Segments, Products and Marketing Analytics on the progress of the Consumer Banking function.
Take decisions with the full knowledge of all the relevant business, and competitive environment
Ensure that the Bank is moving forward with stretched objectives in regards to the Consumer Banking customer segment.
Align functional activities and initiatives with the objectives and mission of the Bank OPERATIONAL
Manage functional activities and provide directions & instructions to Consumer Banking function employees
Work closely with and supervise the product managers, Senior Sales Managers and the Sales Officers/ Relationship Managers in implementing Consumer Banking business.
Monitor segment performance against stated targets, and is responsible for the financial performance and the P&L of the function.
Review, on an ongoing basis, channel performance and recommend corrective actions to improve distribution outlet performance
Assist the Department Head Segments, Products and Marketing Analytics to develop policies, procedures and plans for the Consumer banking function.
Contribute to and coordinate with the Regional Managers, Branch Managers and Relationship managers and Head of Credit Business to set the budget for the function.
Identify any risks and issues with the budget set.
Ensure that the function's plans are within agreed budgets and timescales.
Oversee the development of value proposition and regularly reevaluate the Consumer Banking segment's needs and preferences
Review, on an ongoing basis, channel performance and recommend corrective actions to improve distribution outlet performance. Set sales targets for the segment, channel needed information between head office and Consumer Banking employees.
Develop in-depth industry-wide and product-wide knowledge related to the designated strategic client segment
Coordinate and liaise activities with other Credit Business functions and Marketing Functions to provide support and cross selling opportunities between the functions/ departments.
Ensure that the Consumer Banking function is catering to the various personal needs of the mass-public segment.
Maintain client activities logs, prepare and review reports and submit periodic MIS reports to Department Head Segments, Products and Marketing Analytics and to other executive management of the Bank to inform them about the unit's performance.
Maintain continuous compliance with the policies, procedures, prevailing practices and regulations pertaining to Consumer Banking and general banking guidelinese promulgated by the regulators
Carry out appropriate actions to improve the Consumer Banking service quality and delivery and make sure that that the rest of the function's employees do the same.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Business Studies, Business Management
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in banking, with a minimum of 3-5 years specific to Consumer Banking environment coordinating and/or managing a multi-branch network with demonstrated business development responsibilities
Effective understanding of financial performance management in the banking area
Proven track record in a customer driven, sales and or product innovation role
Detailed knowledge of consumer banking products, risk and compliance
Good understanding of Government related acts
Solid knowledge on Myanmar Banking market with sound understanding of relevant Central Bank of Myanmar Directives.
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong strategy execution skills
Solid implementation and coordination capabilities
Research skills
Excellent Microsoft office skills
Excellent English (written, speaking)
