Job Description
Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repair of stackers and forklifts.
Inspect stackers and forklifts for safety issues and ensure they are in safe working condition.
Requirements:
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of forklift and stacker systems (hydraulic, electrical, mechanical).
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
3-4 years experience in repairing and maintaining forklifts and stackers.
Experience with various types of forklift trucks (electric, gas, propane).
Experience with battery charging and maintenance.
Certifications:
Valid forklift operator license or certification may be required.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., RTITB) can be an asset.
Other:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to lift and carry materials.
Good attendance record.
