Job Description

Job Summary

The Social Media/PR Trainee will manage our company's marketing and communications output. You will respond to queries, and create news summaries, announcements, newsletters, and promotional materials.

This opportunity provides a platform for aspiring professionals to cultivate their skills and expand their knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

1. Create company literature and other forms of communication.

2. Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.

3. Work with other teams for timely and useable ad submissions.

4. Shoot photos/videos for events, websites, or social media and produce content for the intended audience.

5. Develop, edit, proofread, and revise communications.

6. Design and launch email marketing campaigns.

7. Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.

8. Develop marketing communications campaigns.

9. Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals.

10. Research industry trends and provide feedback.

11. Develop fresh story ideas.

12. Conduct marketing, content, and feature research.

13. Network with industry experts and potential clients to drive brand awareness.

Requirements

1. Basic knowledge of marketing campaigns and social media management.

2. Minimum of 6 months’ work experience is preferred. More will be advantageous.

3. Copy writing, content writing and content creation skills.

4. Not more than 25 years.

5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

6. Attention to details.

7. Organizational and time management skills.

8. A pleasant personality and Interpersonal skills.

9. Adaptability, flexibility, and tenacity.

10. Creative thinking and problem solving.

11. A degree in English, Communication, Public Relations, or a related field (from a reputable university with a minimum of 2:1).
