Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Light Bus Driver with an in-depth knowledge of Lagos roads, neighborhoods, traffic patterns, and alternate routes. The ideal candidate must be punctual, safety-conscious, and customer-friendly, with a strong familiarity with the daily challenges of driving in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a light bus within Lagos and surrounding areas.
Plan and follow efficient routes using knowledge of the city to avoid traffic congestion.
Transport passengers or goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with all road safety and traffic laws.
Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Provide courteous assistance to passengers when needed.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license.
Minimum of 3 years of driving experience in Lagos.
Deep familiarity with Lagos geography, including inner roads, shortcuts, and major landmarks.
Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
Ability to drive during early morning, late evening, or weekend hours if required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be dependable, respectful, and have a professional attitude.
