Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Senior HR Executive to lead and execute core HR functions in a fast-paced startup environment. This role is pivotal in building a strong people strategy, driving talent acquisition, fostering a positive culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR generalist with strong strategic thinking and the agility to thrive in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent
Coordinate full-cycle recruitment (job posting, screening, interviews, offer, and onboarding)
Set up and manage a scalable onboarding process
2. Employee Relations & Culture Building
Champion a positive work culture that reflects the startup's values and mission
Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters
Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts professionally
3. HR Strategy & Policy Development
Design and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems from scratch
Advise leadership on organizational structure, headcount planning, and workforce strategy
Set up the HR department’s KPIs and success metrics
4. Performance Management & Development
Implement and oversee a performance management system tailored to startup dynamics
Promote a feedback-driven culture
Identify training needs and facilitate learning & development programs
5. Compensation & Benefits
Structure competitive compensation plans aligned with company goals
Administer payroll, benefits, and statutory compliance
Benchmark salary structures with startup standards
6. HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain employee records and HR data management systems
Ensure compliance with labor laws and relevant employment regulations
Lead audits and other HR administrative processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/HR Certifications are a plus)
5+ years of progressive HR experience; startup or fast-growing company experience preferred
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and HRIS systems
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
