Job Description
Location: Ogere, Ogun State
Job Summary:
We seek an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our Ogere, Ogun State team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, implementing safety policies, and promoting environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Implement HSE Policies: Create, review, and update HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and conduct risk assessments to mitigate risks.
3. Safety Training: Provide training and awareness programs for employees on HSE policies and procedures.
4. Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions.
5. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
6. Environmental Sustainability: Promote environmental sustainability practices and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Requirements:
1. Education: HND in Safety or a related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety).
2. Experience: 3-7 years of experience in HSE roles.
3. Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
